Summer Date Night Idea

Looking for a unique place to spend date night or just want a change of scenery with your friends on a Friday night? Want to visit the zoo but want to avoid the school kids this summer? Well, we have just the thing for you!

Every Friday night until 14th July 2017, London Zoo is opened after-hours for some adults only wildlife x city life fun! Tickets are selling out quick so be sure to book yours NOW!

We were invited to Zoo Nights at ZSL London Zoo last Friday and this is how it went down.

Our evening began with watching a bunch of adorable and silly penguins being fed. Look a their little faces!!

The ZSL team put so much effort into decorating the place. It was just like going to a funfair, just without screaming kids!

No Zoo Nights is complete until you get your face painted.

Of course we must show you the animals, it is a zoo after all.

There are also other forms of entertainments like Zooniversity Challenge, Aerial Arachnid, Forensic Trail, street food and water holes (for human). There are also street entertainers and people on stilts walking around!

Our tips

  • Make sure you get there early, the evening starts at 6pm and closes at 10pm
  • Some areas closes as early as 8:30pm so make sure you visit those areas first. We missed out on the tigers and giraffes because we didn’t prioritise them 😥
  • Get your faceprint as soon as you get there so you can look awesome in all your photos!

Thank you for such a great night ZSL and The Blogger Programme!

  1. This place looks amazing! I love the idea of spending a date night at the zoo. The decorations and the pace painting are really pretty as well, I wish I could go!
