img_2862Molesworth Court Suite We recently took a trip with Dublin with our parents. We wanted to stay together as a family and the opportunity to stay with Molesworth Court Suite came up.

We had a lovely 2 bedroom apartment all to ourselves in the heart of Dublin. This apartment is kitted with 2 double beds, fully functioning kitchen with ovens and cookers, a large and bright living room space and a bathroom with a bathtub.

It really felt like we were staying in a family home and there was so much space we did not feel like we were stepping on each other’s toes!

It’s lovely being able to go abroad on holidays but it’s not always possible or feasible. We found ourselves itchy to go away again when Graham had some time off in between jobs. We didn’t want to go abroad and we decided to visit the Lake District.

The most amazing was, shortly after we went, it became an UNESCO heritage site!!

Our recent trip to Corfu was a very memorable one. We went there to celebrate our 2 year anniversary and we had such a lovely time! With only 3 full days there, we were pressed for time and there was a lot we wanted to see!

Corfu would not have been the same had we not rented a car. Corfu is a relatively small island but they do not have a very robust transport system. There are buses you can take but they don’t seem to be very frequent. Plus, your own car is of course more comfortable than public transport!

It is easy to explore the world and fall in love with all the different places, but it is easy to forget about the people living in these places. The best travel experiences are always the ones where you get to interact with the locals because it is the people that makes a place great!

If you love travelling, I assume you love the world; if you love the world, I assume you are interested in the people who habit the world. If I am right, keep reading… if not, still read anyway teehee! (Give away at the end too!)

On our last post, we shared about seeing the Grand Canyon from above. This time we are taking you on a special ground tour, the Pink Jeep Tour!

We toyed with the idea of renting a car and driving ourselves to the Grand Canyon from Las Vegas, we even booked a hotel near the Grand Canyon National Park. We dreaded the long drive on unfamiliar territories and then the opportunity to join the Pink Jeep Tour came up. We were delighted and quickly cancelled our hotel booking! Continue reading
